This pie was created with love. My love for Nutella and marshmallow cream. Two of my favorite condiments. I probably use them more than I use ketchup.
Have you ever had a Nutella & marshmallow cream sandwich? I haven’t. That actually might be too sweet. I do like peanut butter & Nutella sandwiches, Nutella & banana sandwiches, and peanut butter-marshmallow cream sandwiches. One time my teacher in school pointed out to me how much sugar was in marshmallow cream when I was eating a flutternutter sandwich. She said it had too many carbs.
That’s when I slapped her in the face.
Nah, I didn’t really, but I should have. Come on and live a little! Let’s have some marshmallow cream and make this a good day.
This pie is kind of weird. I sort of mixed everything up and hoped for the best. It turned out good… a little weird, but good. Like, addicting good. Like, where you go back again and again and keep cutting off little slivers to taste. You do that. You know you do that.
The crust is graham cracker, but it got kind of cakey after baking. I think it’s because I ran low on graham cracker crumbs and threw in some Ritz cracker crumbs.
The filling is sort of the consistency of pecan pie filling, but not as runny. The filling is made up of Nutella, marshmallow cream, eggs, milk, flour, sugar and butter. Oh! And there’s chopped chocolate on top.
Enjoy! Have a good weekend!

DeleteThis is pure awesomeness. I definitely use nutella and peanut butter way more than any condiment.
ReplyDeleteMe too, me too, Erin.
DeleteI love Fluffernutters! I haven't had one in years though. I don't dare considering how fattening they are. (I will now duck to avoid being slapped)
ReplyDeleteI want this pie though. I really want this pie. I can imagine sharing this with my niece. I turned her on to Nutella two years ago and now she's into it in a big way. This is a perfect kid's pie.
Is the crust pre-baked in this recipe?
If it's a homemade crust I'd bake it about 10 minutes.
DeleteSo much good stuff in this pie! I want a piece!
